Dream Medical is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Senior Staff Nurse to work in a 4-bedded Surgical and Medical HDU. Working as part of a small, dedicated team you will be expected to take charge of the unit and use your initiative and experience in clinical decision making.
Key Responsibilities
- Take charge of the High Dependency Unit, overseeing patient care and unit operations.
- Provide night cover, with some rotation on days.
- Work with a variety of caseloads including Hepatopancreatobiliary, Colorectal, Gynaecological and Upper GI surgery.
- Make clinical decisions and exercise clinical judgement.
Qualifications
- Experience in ITU/HDU desirable.
- Strong clinical decision-making skills.
- Proven ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
