Locum Advanced Nurse Practitioner/Prescriber – Derby
Dream Medical is working with a respected Medical Centre in the Derby area who is urgently looking for a locum Advanced Nurse Practitioner/Prescriber to work 2–3 days a week at their friendly Centre. An exciting opportunity has arisen to cover ongoing locum shifts at a Medical Centre in Derby. The role involves undertaking and interpreting a wide range of diagnostic tests, such as cytology, venepuncture, blood pressure, ECGs, and handling acute illnesses.
Responsibilities- Work 2–3 days per week on locum shifts at the Medical Centre
- Interpret a wide range of diagnostic tests (cytology, venepuncture, blood pressure, ECGs, etc.)
- Provide clinical care for acute illnesses
- Maintain accurate record keeping for patient care
- Assist with mandatory training and DBS application as required
- Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
- Independent nurse prescriber
- Held an MSc or postgraduate diploma in a relevant field
- Experience in a clinical environment, preferably within a medical centre
- Role is locum with ongoing shifts and weekly pay
- Working patterns and hours are flexible
