Cardiac Physiologist urgently required in Hertfordshire. Dream Medical is working with a large healthcare provider in the Hertfordshire region to provide an experienced cardiac physiologist. This is a locum role starting ASAP for an ongoing period, offering full-time hours and excellent hourly pay rates.
Principal Duties / Responsibilities:
- Recording and monitoring of electrocardiograms
- Downloading results from ambulatory monitors
- Assisting the Cardiology Services Manager in preparing patients for investigations
- Preparation of equipment prior to clinical sessions
- Maintaining records as requested by the Cardiology Services Manager
- Maintaining stock levels as requested by the Cardiology Services Manager
- Assisting the Cardiology Services Manager in daily administrative and clerical duties
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Being professionally and legally responsible and accountable for all aspects of work, including clinical practice
- Ensuring a high standard of clinical care within own professional practice and supporting other staff within the specialty
- Assessing and managing clinical risk within own patient caseload and advising colleagues on risk management
- Maintaining accurate, comprehensive, and up-to-date documentation in line with legal and service requirements, and communicating diagnostic results to appropriate disciplines
- Assisting and ensuring safe and effective moving and handling of patients
Dream Medical requires compliance documents such as current DBS, immunisation records (MMR, Hep B, BCG), registration certificates, references, and ID.
