Dream Medical is working with a GP surgery in Burnley recruiting a Practice Nurse for their surgery. The practice is looking for a nurse to cover a minimum of 35 hours a week on a permanent basis. You will be working as part of a team alongside GPs, nurses and healthcare assistants.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside GPs, nurses and healthcare assistants
Qualifications / Skills
- Up to date in baby immunisations and vaccinations
- Knowledge or experience of Chronic Disease Management
- The care of patients presenting with undifferentiated health problems
- Child and adult immunisations
- Cervical Cytology
- Spirometry
- Diabetes
- Asthma and COPD monitoring
- Family planning
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Up to date knowledge of QOF and Enhanced Services
