Dream Medical is working with a new modern GP practice in Preston, currently looking for a Locum Practice Nurse to join their team. They are flexible with days and hours, ideally covering 4 days a week, but can consider 2 days. The position is ongoing with potential to become permanent.
You will work alongside GPs, Nurses, and healthcare assistants.
Requirements:
- Knowledge or experience of Chronic Disease Management
- Care of patients with undifferentiated health problems
- Child and adult immunisations
- Cervical Cytology (not essential)
- Diabetes management
- Asthma and COPD monitoring (desirable)
- Family planning
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
- Up-to-date knowledge of QOF and Enhanced Services
- Current clinical updates, immunisations, and vaccinations
