Dream Medical are working with a modern GP practice in Chorley who are currently looking for a Locum Practice Nurse to join their team. Ideally, the Practice are looking for a full-time locum Practice Nurse to cover maternity leave on a 12 - 18 month contract. You would be required to work Monday - Friday. You will be working as part of a team alongside GPs, Nurses and healthcare assistants.
Requirements:
- Knowledge or experience of Chronic Disease Management
- The care of patients presenting with undifferentiated health problems
- Child and adult immunisations
- Cervical Cytology
- Diabetes
- Asthma and COPD monitoring
- Family planning
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Up to date knowledge of QOF and Enhanced Services
- Be fully up to date in terms of clinical updates, immunisations and vaccinations
