This is a clinical leadership role for an Advanced Nurse Practitioner looking to take the next step in their career in a fast-paced Urgent Care Centre setting that is easily accessible via public transport.
You'll be in charge of the ongoing development of nurses as well as providing the full range of Medical Services based on patient needs and centre/practice service offerings.
In addition to standard nursing duties, you will be accountable in conjunction with the Lead GP, for the clinical governance of the centre, in order to ensure the safe, effective and compliant delivery of services to all patients.
You'll take responsibility in making autonomous decisions with regards to patient care and advanced assessment skills of history taking and clinical examination, make a diagnosis and initiate an appropriate care plan including any necessary tests or referrals.
In return, you'll have annual training allowances, study leave and NMC fees.
You must:
- Have relevant ANP and Prescribing qualifications and experience
- Managerial background
- Be registered with the NMC with a valid pin
- Provide 2 clinical referees
