Overview
Dream Medical is a Primary care specialist company focusing on locum and permanent opportunities for qualified Nurses, AHPs and GPs. We provide nursing cover in the Aberdeen area to large organisations such as law firms and factories to administer the flu vaccination in the latter part of the year. We stock approx. 25,000 vaccines and have around 400 different clients nationwide. This is a flexible locum opportunity that you can fit around your existing schedule, with ad-hoc vaccination opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Administer up to 16 flu vaccines per hour.
- Work a minimum of 3 hour clinic sessions; sessions can be arranged to suit part- or full-time work.
- Travel between sites may be required; mileage paid at 25p per mile.
- All vaccination equipment, vaccines, sharps bins and documents will be provided on site in a temperature regulated box on arrival.
- Provide one-to-one consultancy and support to locum nurses.
Locations
- Aberdeen – nursing cover for flu vaccination campaigns in local organisations (e.g., law firms, factories).
- Watford – Locum Occupational Health Nurse required in Watford; various dates in the coming period.
- Southampton – Occupational Health Nurse – Southampton posting.
Requirements
- NMC registration and PIN
- Occupational Health Nursing/Practice nursing experience
- Immunisations clinical update
- Enhanced DBS issued within 1 year
