For a Milan-based client company, a leader in the design and manufacturing of electrical equipment for hazardous environments under ATEX directives, we are seeking a Chief Commercial Officer.
The candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Define and implement an integrated Go-To-Market strategy, aligned with long-term growth objectives;
- Lead the Commercial, Marketing, Business Development, and Partnership functions, ensuring alignment and execution;
- Manage the entire revenue cycle, from demand generation to closing, including upselling and cross-selling;
- Define and monitor commercial KPIs, optimizing sales performance and processes;
- Analyze market data and competitive trends to identify opportunities and mitigate risks;
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and reporting for the CEO and Board;
- Support expansion into new markets, segments, and channels, including through strategic partnerships;
- Oversee the marketing strategy (brand, digital, content, product marketing) to generate qualified pipeline;
- Participate in strategic negotiations with key clients and partners;
- Promote a customer-centric culture focused on retention and account development;
- Active member of the Executive Committee, contributing directly to strategic company decisions.
The candidate will have the following requirements:
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in the same role, with at least 10 years in the Oil & Gas sector and the last 3–4 years in EPC environments;
- Proven experience in building and scaling successful B2B commercial strategies;
- Experience managing multidisciplinary and heterogeneous teams;
- Excellent knowledge of Italian and English (written and spoken); knowledge of a third language is a plus;
- Charismatic leadership, excellent communication and negotiation skills, strategic and results-oriented mindset, resilience in high-pressure environments, and strong analytical problem-solving abilities;
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 60–70% of the time.
Working hours: full time
Work location: 6 months relocation in Italy (fully covered), then remote + global travel
Italian contract: CCNL Metalmeccanico – Executive level.
