DrCleanish provides specialist food safety, hygiene, allergen control, audit readiness, and compliance support to businesses operating in regulated food and drink environments. We work with a broad range of clients, including food producers, commercial kitchens, bakeries, restaurants, cafés, supplement brands, contract packers, breweries, coffee roasters, and other food-related businesses that need to meet strict safety and hygiene standards.
We are looking for a confident and motivated Business Development Executive to help introduce our services to new clients and build long-term business relationships across this market.
What you’ll do:
- Building and managing your own pipeline of prospective clients across London
- Contacting businesses by phone, email, and in person to introduce our food safety compliance services
- Speaking with decision-makers such as business owners, Operations Managers, Technical Managers, and Quality Assurance leads
- Understanding each client’s needs, risks, and compliance requirements
- Presenting suitable solutions in a clear, consultative, and professional way
- Supporting new clients through onboarding, including structured assessments and site reviews
- Helping clients put strong compliance practices in place and maintain them over time
- Keeping your pipeline organised using a simple CRM system, with regular follow-ups and accurate forecasting
Who we’re looking for:
- A confident communicator with a proactive attitude
- Some experience in sales, business development, telesales, customer service, hospitality, recruitment, or another client-facing role is helpful, but not essential
- Comfortable speaking with business owners and decision-makers, or willing to learn
- Interested in food safety, compliance, hygiene, or regulated environments
- Self-motivated, resilient, and target-driven
- Ambitious and keen to build a career in B2B sales

Compensation:
This role includes a guaranteed base salary, plus commission on new clients and recurring commission on retained clients. As you build your own client portfolio, your earnings can grow over time through both new business and ongoing client relationships.
