With offices across Europe and North America, the company is scaling rapidly and requires a senior HR leader to shape culture, talent, and organisational strategy through the next phase of international growth.
The Chief People Officer will be a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, reporting directly to the CEO. They will drive the global people strategy, overseeing all aspects of HR, talent, culture, and organisational development. The CPO will partner closely with technology, product, and commercial leaders to ensure the business can attract, retain, and develop world-class talent at scale.
Key Responsibilities- Define and deliver a global people strategy that supports the company’s ambitious growth plans across Europe, the UK, and North America.
- Lead all HR functions including Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, Employee Relations, and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion.
- Shape and embed a high-performance, values-driven culture across a distributed workforce.
- Partner with the CEO and Executive Team to evolve organisational structure, leadership capability, and succession planning.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and innovative EVP strategies tailored to a competitive fintech talent market.
- Oversee people analytics, ensuring data-driven insights inform talent strategy and workforce planning.
- Ensure compliance with employment law across multiple international jurisdictions.
- Proven track record as a senior HR leader (People/HR Director or CPO) in a high-growth technology, fintech, SaaS or payments business.
- Experience scaling people functions across international markets, ideally within venture-backed or PE-backed businesses.
- Demonstrated success in building culture during times of rapid growth, transformation, or international expansion.
- Strong commercial acumen, able to link people strategy directly to business performance.
- Deep knowledge of employment law, organisational design, and HR best practices across multiple geographies.
- Inspirational leader with excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence at board level.
