Head of Marketing

Drayton are thrilled to be partnering with a market leading business, based near the Darlington area, who are seeking a Head of Marketing. This role will report into the Managing Director of the business and be key in driving business growth by transforming their digital and performance marketing capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage marketing strategy with a focus on driving business growth across various digital channels.
• Plan and implement integrated digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
• Lead a marketing team, cultivating a collaborative, engaged, and high‑performing culture.
• Generate incremental sales through new opportunities, while continually enhancing the current portfolio to maximise sales and profitability.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in digital and performance marketing within a B2B manufacturing and import environment, with a strong focus on e‑commerce. This is a product oriented business, therefore experience in a premium, design‑biased arena would be advantageous but not essential.
• Strong expertise in performance marketing, with a proven ability to drive measurable growth, engagement, and conversions across digital channels.
• Extensive expertise in CRM, with a proven ability to leverage these systems to track customer behaviour, optimise engagement, and drive data‑informed business decisions.
• Demonstrated experience in managing marketing teams, inspiring high performance and fostering engagement.

• Skilled at influencing and engaging stakeholders, both internally with teams and externally with clients or partners.
• Highly effective communicator with excellent teamwork and interpersonal abilities.
