A leading cosmetics business is seeking a commercially focused FP&A Lead to drive financial insight, influence strategic decisions, and support performance across the EMEA region. This newly created role offers the opportunity to partner with commercial and operational teams, provide actionable analysis, and directly impact growth in a fast-paced, dynamic cosmetics environment.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Senior Finance Director, you will take ownership of FP&A for EMEA, translating financial data into actionable insights that shape decisions, optimize profitability, and support business initiatives. You will work closely with commercial teams to ensure resources are deployed effectively and business objectives are achieved.
What You\’ll Be Doing
- Financial Planning & Forecasting: Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles, partnering with business leaders to develop robust, challenge-tested plans that support growth and strategic priorities.
- Analysis & Decision Support: Analyse results, highlight variances, and provide actionable recommendations to drive performance and support commercial decision-making.
- Scenario Planning & ROI Analysis: Build financial models to stress-test assumptions, evaluate initiatives, and demonstrate return on spend.
- Revenue & Pricing Management: Oversee contra revenue (rebates, returns, promotions) and pricing data, providing insights that optimize profitability.
- Month-End Close Support: Deliver accurate, audit-ready reporting that informs business performance and compliance.
Who We\’re Looking For
A commercially minded finance professional with strong analytical skills, capable of partnering with commercial teams to influence decisions and improve business performance in the cosmetics sector.
- Qualified accountant (CIMA or equivalent).
- Commercial finance experience in fast-paced, consumer-focused environments (FMCG or cosmetics preferred).
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with Netsuite or similar reporting systems preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence non-finance teams.
- Intellectual curiosity and interest in cosmetics products, trends, and consumer behavior.
- EMEA-focused finance experience supporting multi-functional teams.
- Hands‑on experience managing contra revenue, pricing, or scenario-based financial modelling.
