Role
The Site General Manager is a senior leadership role within the organisation and has a wide range of responsibilities:

- Identify and cultivate future leaders within the team and implement succession planning strategies.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to optimise production processes, minimise waste, and improve overall efficiency.
- Create a high-performance culture whilst maintaining an environment where individuals are valued and respected.
- Develop and manage the site’s operating budget, ensuring cost control measures and productivity targets are met.
- Monitor financial performance, analyse variances, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Defining the capital agenda requirements for the medium and long-term growth plans of the business.
- Support the wider business in delivering improvement projects to achieve overall financial and performance goals.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter, someone who has experience in operations management within the food industry and has the gravitas to operate in a senior role within a dynamic business. They will be confident, assertive, a team player, and possess excellent numerical and verbal skills. Extensive experience in FMCG is essential.
