The business is seeking a commercially-biased NED with deep experience in B2B ingredients, a demonstrable track record in a high growth or scale-up context, and ideally exposure to fundraising. You will join the board and support their next stage of development as they commercialise and build out their route-to-market. The location of this role is fully flexible, and individuals based in continental Europe would also be attractive.

Key Experiences

Comparable Business Environments: Excellent track record in overseeing delivery against ambitious growth targets in early-stage, fast-paced, creative, food environments. Ideally be able to demonstrate an understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities that come with working in vertically-integrated businesses, and their ability to navigate these to drive successful outcomes.

Board Experience: Experienced and effective Board leader, with a proven ability to successfully manage stakeholders. Provides strategic guidance and oversight to the board and management team, ensuring that the organisation is well-positioned to achieve its objectives.

Fundraise and Exit Experience: A demonstrable track record in fundraising, capitalisation table restructuring, and ideally successful exits, will be crucial in ensuring optimal utilisation of resources and alignment of stakeholder interests.

Early-Stage Growth Track Record: A track-record of playing a key contributing role to a business during periods of rapid growth, with an ability to effectively execute clear direction and strategy, bringing the team with them. Clarity of leadership and direction that delivers this vision in a fast paced, dynamic way, with a sleeves rolled up mentality.
