The Finance Director will be a key member of the Leadership Team, Company Secretary, and a Director for the Board. Reporting to the Managing Director, this role will be fully accountable for the overall financial and risk management and will be responsible for guiding and supporting the business’ future trajectory. This is an exciting time for the business, with multiple opportunities for growth. This role will manage financial due diligence, be involved, and support the integrations of new ventures.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be an experienced retail executive with a proven track record of driving consistent financial performance in complex, scaled organisations.
  • Have a minimum of 10 years of financial leadership experience with preferably an MBA or relevant qualification (e.g., CFA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Be a strong leader who can think strategically as well as be operational when required.
  • Already have a successful track record delivering growth and profitability within high-performing businesses of £100m turnover plus.
  • Have a deep knowledge of ‘best practice’ and a willingness to work cross-functionally.
  • Have excellent communication and stakeholder management experience and be capable of managing complex partnership dynamics.
  • Have significant experience within a B2C, multisite business with an omnichannel proposition.
  • Have demonstrated experience in strategic financial planning, financial control and governance, investment strategy, and managing complex financial regulation and reporting requirements in the UK and ideally Republic of Ireland.
  • Be agile and show commercial initiative with an ability to quickly gain followership, quickly mobilizing teams by bringing the right people together and understanding what needs to be delivered.
