Assistant Quantity Surveyor

• Assist in preparing cost estimates and budgets for residential projects.

• Support the preparation of tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.

• Help manage and control project expenditures.

• Work closely with the Senior Quantity Surveyor and project teams to monitor progress and costs.

• Assist in conducting feasibility studies and cost analyses.

• Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to gather necessary information.

• Contribute to the preparation of regular financial reports.

They are seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support their commercial team in managing all costs related to residential building projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your career within a dynamic and supportive environment., * Degree or HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying or a related field.

• Some experience in quantity surveying, preferably within the residential construction sector.

• Strong numerical and analytical skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Attention to detail with the ability to work accurately under pressure.

• A proactive approach with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Knowledge of construction methods and materials is an advantage.

• 35k – 40k
