Are you a bubbly, organised people-person who loves getting things right for a client? Do you want a role where no two days are the same, one minute dispatching a client gift to New York, the next coordinating an exhibition stand delivery? If you're a fast learner with a genuine passion for great service, we'd love to hear from you.

About us

DRAYTON is a long-established promotional merchandise company (40 years) based in Reading. We provide creative merchandise ideas and solutions to clients across a huge variety of sectors. Anything from a cupcake to a Christmas bauble, or a parasol to a full exhibition stand. With a large range of in-house branding machinery and a 3,500 sq ft showroom, we also look after logistics and build webstores to support clients’ events and exhibitions, shipping materials worldwide.

The role

We're seeking an intelligent, fast-learning Sales Coordinator who can handle a variety of administrative tasks, support our sales team, and build strong relationships with clients and suppliers.

  • Manage web orders for event merchandise, including updating our webstore, picking and packing goods, and dispatching via couriers to UK and overseas locations.
  • Support the sales team by liaising with clients and suppliers to ensure smooth order processing and delivery.
  • Learn and maintain our software systems to update order details, deliveries, invoices, and incoming stock.
  • Oversee the checking in of goods delivered to our premises.
  • Coordinate time-sensitive deliveries of event materials (including exhibition stands, displays, and merchandise) to multiple locations.
  • Handle client gift deliveries worldwide, ensuring timely and accurate dispatch.
  • Provide excellent customer service, maintaining a professional and pleasant manner in all client and supplier interactions, whether on the phone or face to face.

Who we're looking for

  • A caring, enthusiastic individual who takes pride in their work and excels at customer satisfaction, exceeding client expectations.
  • A well-organised individual who is passionate about not only doing their best, but doing whatever it takes to get the job done.
  • An excellent team player who values supporting colleagues as much as achieving personal success.
  • Someone with a bubbly, positive personality and strong communication skills.
  • An adaptable, quick learner, capable of mastering new systems and processes.
  • A creative thinker, eager to contribute ideas and improve workflows.

This role has a clear progression path to a Sales Account Manager position after approximately one year of successful performance. As a Sales Account Manager, you'll take on increased responsibility for client relationships, strategic sales planning, and account growth.

What you'll get

  • Free on-site parking.
  • Private healthcare after 2 years’ service.
  • Casual dress.
  • Well-equipped kitchen and well-maintained offices.
  • Option for free branded clothing and samples.
  • Normally an extended Christmas break.

Please note this role is fully office-based, with no hybrid working.
