To continued growth, we’re looking for a new M&A Manager to join our team at our office in the City of London. As a M&A Manager, you’ll support our M&A Director in identifying potential M&A targets which support Drax’s long term business strategy.
You’ll lead project teams for acquisitions or disposals, with typical business valuation of over £100m, as well as leading the post investment appraisal process, providing feedback on how effective the spend has helped shape the future of the organisation in an environment where M&A are energy in an uncertain world. As a M&A Manager, you’ll be responsible for running M&A deals from beginning to end, working cross-functionally with leadership teams and peers in Finance, Tax, Legal Market Analysis to ensure Drax is on track.
Conduct M&A discussions and prepare and lead presentations on proposed acquisitions with senior leadership teams. Responsible for ensuring a robust, rigorous and detailed due diligence process ensuring all risks are appropriately managed.
In conjunction with Legal, take responsibility for preparation of transaction documentation (Confidentiality Agreement, Information Memorandum, Process letters, Management Presentations, Sale and Purchase Agreements).
Extensive experience of M&A covering the full life cycle of transactions and proactively managing multi-disciplining teams. Ability to manage complex acquisition issues as well as in-depth financial modelling, incremental P&L, balance sheet and cash flow analysis, accretion/dilution analysis, etc.
Previous experience gained from working within an Investment Bank, Corporate Finance team, Accounting Firm or within an in-house M&A team.
