Department – Change & Project Management

Closing date: 7 August

About the role:

We're seeking a Senior Change Manager who lives and breathes change management. Combining deep transformation expertise with outstanding people leadership, you'll lead a team of Business Change Analysts while driving the successful delivery and adoption of some of the organisation's most complex and strategically important change programmes.

This is a pivotal leadership role within our Change & Project Management function, where you'll lead the delivery of complex, enterprise-wide transformation programmes that shape the future of the business. As Senior Change Manager, you'll be the driving force behind change adoption, ensuring strategic initiatives are successfully embedded and deliver lasting business value. This role goes far beyond managing change plans – we're looking for someone who truly lives and breathes change management and can provide expert leadership across large-scale, people-focused transformation programmes.

You'll lead and develop a team of experienced Business Change Analysts, providing coaching, direction and support while building a high-performing change capability. Alongside your leadership responsibilities, you'll remain hands-on, leading complex change activity across major transformation initiatives, including business, technology and organisational change. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proven change leader who can balance strategic thinking, people leadership and operational delivery.

Who we’re looking for:

We're looking for a highly credible change professional with a strong track record of leading large-scale transformation and driving successful organisational change. You'll bring deep change management expertise, coupled with exceptional leadership and line management skills, and be passionate about developing people and building high-performing teams.

The successful candidate will have experience leading and coaching teams of analysts or change professionals, creating an environment where people can thrive while maintaining high standards of delivery. You'll be confident influencing senior stakeholders, navigating ambiguity and driving behavioural change across complex organisations. While business analysis experience is valuable, this role is first and foremost about change leadership – we're seeking someone whose strengths lie in shaping change strategies, leading people through transformation and ensuring change lands successfully across the organisation.

You'll stand out if you have:

  • Significant experience leading complex business transformation and change programmes.
  • Proven people leadership and line management experience, including coaching and developing analyst or change teams.
  • The ability to influence and build credibility with senior leaders and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong behavioural leadership skills, with the resilience and empathy to lead teams through challenging and sometimes unpopular change initiatives.
  • A hands-on approach, with the ability to combine strategic leadership with delivery when needed.
  • Experience embedding sustainable change, driving adoption and delivering measurable business outcomes.

Who we are:

We’re not just talking about making a difference, we’re making it happen. We generate dispatchable, renewable power and create stable energy in an uncertain world. Building on our proud heritage, we have ambition to become the global leader in renewable energy.

You’ll be joining our teams of practical doers, future thinkers and business champions. We’re enabling a zero carbon, lower cost energy future for all, and working hard to decarbonise the planet for generations to come.

Rewards and benefits:

As you help us to shape the future, we’ve shaped our rewards and benefits to help you thrive and support your lifestyle. If successful in this role, you’ll get:

  • A discretionary bonus
  • Private Healthcare
  • SAYE (Sharesave): discretionary scheme from time to time
  • Personal accident cover
  • Group personal pension plan where we’ll pay up to 10%
  • Holiday 25 days plus bank holidays
  • Reimbursement of the cost of your annual membership of one relevant and appropriate professional body
  • Study support to complete the Chartered Governance Institute exams (if required)
