As part of the Pricing & Cost Stack Team, you’ll:

  • Have overall responsibility for generation of accurate Fixed and Flexible contract prices
  • Work closely with your own team and other departments to identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies
  • Ensure our most complex tenders (many with contract values of millions of pounds) are priced according to precise requirements, helping us to drive significant margin into the business
  • Play an active role in the ongoing improvement of systems and processes in Flex pricing
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for improvement in tools and processes and updating and maintaining inputs in our suite of pricing tools.

To be successful in this role you’ll ideally have:

  • Excellent numerical skills paired with a sharp eye for detail and combined with ability to see the bigger picture.
  • Confidence working independently while also thriving in a team-oriented environment.
  • Solid PC skills and intermediate to advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel, including managing complex spreadsheets and data analysis.
  • Pricing experience within utility environment. Familiarity with process management and related software is a plus, though not essential.
  • A strong understanding of Drax/Energy products and proven experience in a B2B environment, collaborating with sales professionals, and managing deadlines is essential.
  • Experience with coding languages, VBA, SQL would be advantageous.
