About the role: As part of the Commercial Team, the Quantity Surveyor will:
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and pricing for EV installation projects and ongoing services, covering design, supply chain, installation, and connection works.
- Review drawings, specifications and tender documents to produce clear bills of quantities and commercial pricing models.
- Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations alongside Procurement and Commercial teams to ensure best value, compliance, and risk control.
- Partner with project and design teams to validate quantities, assess build methodologies, and ensure costs align with budgets.
- Support value engineering, cost optimisation and risk management to protect margins and deliver against commercial KPIs.
- Engage confidently with internal and external stakeholders to ensure pricing, variations and cost reporting are transparent, competitive and client‑focused.
Who we’re looking for: To be successful in this role you’ll ideally have:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Estimator within construction, grid connections, M&E, installations, energy or EV environments.
- Strong knowledge of construction and electrical systems, with a clear understanding of relevant regulations and standards.
- Experience in managing and executing standard construction contracts such as JCT or NEC 3+4.
- Advanced experience using estimating software and digital tools, with a continuous‑improvement mindset for accurate and efficient cost management.
- A great attitude, very reliable, self-sufficient and confident.
