We're looking for an OT Cyber Security Engineer to join our Cyber team and help protect critical operational technology across Drax's growing portfolio of energy assets. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from reviewing new acquisitions and supporting risk assessments to designing secure OT architectures and helping shape cyber security standards across the business.
You'll work closely with engineering, IT, security and project teams, providing expert advice on OT cyber security and supporting projects throughout their lifecycle. This role offers a high level of autonomy, exposure to new technology and the opportunity to make a real impact in a business driving the transition to a lower-carbon future.
Who we’re looking for: We're open to candidates from a range of backgrounds, whether your experience sits within industrial networking, infrastructure, control & instrumentation, OT environments or cyber security. If you have strong technical foundations and a passion for securing critical infrastructure, we'll support your development where needed.
You'll ideally bring experience in some of the following:
- Experience working within industrial, OT or cyber security environments
- Knowledge of ICS/OT security frameworks such as IEC 62443 or NIS regulations
- Strong network, infrastructure or industrial communications experience
- The ability to build relationships and work across multidisciplinary teams
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the confidence to work independently
There may be some travel required to other sites and assets on an ad hoc basis.
