About the role: You’ll take ownership of documenting systems and processes within the technology tower, while actively contributing to configuration, maintenance, and the smooth operation of critical technologies. From installing, configuring, and testing environments to ensuring day‑to‑day patching, monitoring, and performance management, you’ll keep everything running at peak capacity and compliance. You’ll monitor the environment to get full visibility into performance and availability, producing reviews, reports, and audit logs that demonstrate service quality. You’ll collaborate with Group IT to resolve escalations, support disaster recovery testing, and provide audit evidence, all while driving continual service improvement. With a customer‑centric approach, you’ll embrace IT Service Management practices, optimise infrastructure through ongoing analysis, and deliver resilient, compliant, and high‑performing technology services that make a real impact.
Who we’re looking for: To be successful in this role you’ll need to have a number of years of experience in a similar role along with technical experience in End User Compute including:
- VDI
- Desktop and mobile hardware and software
- Collaboration tools
- Identity and access management / security
- Monitoring, event management and other operational tools
- Meeting room and AV technology
- Managed print
