Building on our proud heritage, we have ambition to become the global leader in EC&I Technician. You will provide electrical, control and instrumentation projects.
Uddingston near Glasgow, Daldowie Treatment Works is one of the largest plants. For nearly 25 years the plant has focused on creating wdf pellets from sewage sludge, reducing environmental impacts as well as carrying out planned maintenance activities including instrumentation to maintain compliance, inspiring safe ways of working across the site, setting a high standard of EC&I engineering activity, and supporting in rolling out larger group with a wide support network.
You should be educated to at least ONC level in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering. You will need plant experience in the maintenance, repair and installation of electrical equipment, including but not restricted to, 3 phase motors and associated switchgear, variable speed drives, soft starts, circuit breakers, and be able to interpret schematic drawings, single line diagrams and PLC ladder logic.
Experience in the installation and calibration of plant instrumentation and control systems is required.
