Permanent position in Ipswich/hybrid.

About the role: As part of the Commercial Team, the Quantity Surveyor will:

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates and pricing for EV installation projects and ongoing services, covering design, supply chain, installation, and connection works.
  • Review drawings, specifications and tender documents to produce clear bills of quantities and commercial pricing models.
  • Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations alongside Procurement and Commercial teams to ensure best value, compliance, and risk control.
  • Partner with project and design teams to validate quantities, assess build methodologies, and ensure costs align with budgets.
  • Support value engineering, cost optimisation and risk management to protect margins and deliver against commercial KPIs.
  • Engage confidently with internal and external stakeholders to ensure pricing, variations and cost reporting are transparent, competitive and client‑focused.

Who we’re looking for: To be successful in this role you’ll ideally have…

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Estimator within construction, grid connections.
