Early Careers Development Specialist Full time, 12 Month Fixed Term Contract Location – Flexible Selby/Ipswich preferred Closing date: 29 July Who we are: We’re not just talking about making a difference, we’re making it happen. About the role: You’ll help us shape the future for our Early Careers (EC) cohorts by managing a delivery portfolio of new entrant development programmes. This includes analysis, planning, training programme design and development, delivery, evaluation and provision of individual learning and pastoral support from welcome and induction to first post deployment. Reporting into the Early Careers manager you’ll be part of a small but mighty team, adding value across the business. You’ll work closely with multiple stakeholders , to successfully deliver our development programmes across Drax. You’ll play a key role in the learner’s journey by providing structured learning and development programmes, and regular impartial 1-2-1 development and pastoral support sessions for our learners over the duration of their development programmes. You will also be responsible for facilitating several stakeholder governance groups. This is a home-based role with regular travel to Selby, London and Ipswich, where our early careers learners are based, with occasional travel to Scotland so a driving licence and the ability to be flexible and travel is essential. Who we’re looking for: Previous Early Careers or learning and development experience is desirable but isn’t essential for this role. However, what is essential is the ability to confidently liaise and manage a varied range of internal and external stakeholders at all levels and to have experience of project planning and co-ordination of learning programmes. You’ll be a confident communicator and be experienced in delivering training and development sessions to graduates, interns, apprentices and work experience cohorts the business. If you have experience with skills and apprenticeship models and funding, that would be a bonus!
