We're looking for an OT Cyber Security Engineer to join our Cyber team and help protect critical operational technology across Drax's growing portfolio of energy assets. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from reviewing new acquisitions and supporting risk assessments to designing secure OT architectures and helping shape cyber security standards across the business.

You'll work closely with engineering, IT, security and project teams, providing expert advice on OT cyber security and supporting projects throughout their lifecycle. We're open to candidates from a range of backgrounds, whether your experience sits within industrial networking, infrastructure, control & instrumentation, OT environments or cyber security. If you have strong technical foundations and a passion for securing critical infrastructure, we'll support your development where needed.

  • Experience working within industrial, OT or cyber security environments
  • Strong network, infrastructure or industrial communications experience
  • There may be some travel required to other sites and assets on an ad hoc basis.

As you help us to shape the future, we’ve shaped our rewards and benefits to help you thrive and support:

  • A discretionary bonus depending on company performance
  • Private Healthcare
  • SAYE (Sharesave): discretionary scheme from time to time
  • Group personal pension plan where we’ll pay up to 10%
  • Holiday 25 days plus bank holidays

To make this a reality, we actively work to better represent the communities we operate in, foster inclusion, and establish fair processes. Through these actions, we build the trust needed for all colleagues at Drax to contribute their perspectives and talents, no matter their background. Talk to us about flexible working!
