The predicted salary is between 63551 - 73567 £ per year.
The role will require you to manage routine inspection and maintenance of all systems to ensure that our Hydro power stations meet all statutory and legislative requirements and remain efficient and reliable to maximise opportunities for commercial running. This will include supporting the design and implementation of inspection and monitoring plans for short-, medium- and long-term asset integrity of all electrical plant, control systems, instruments & associated systems. You will also provide essential input into Electrical, Control & Instrumentation projects from project identification, initiation, development and tendering through to delivery processes.
To be successful in this role you will have a strong background in Electrical/Control & Instrumentation Engineering. Previous experience in Hydro or the wider power generation sector would be ideal. You will also hold an HNC in Electrical or Control & Instrumentation Engineering. A NEBOSH or IOSH certificate in Health & Safety or equivalent would also be beneficial. You will need highly developed communications and negotiation skills and be able to form effective working relationships and persuade others to help solve problems.
