About the role
As part of the Pricing & Cost Stack Team, you’ll:
- Have overall responsibility for generation of accurate Fixed and Flexible contract prices.
- Work closely with your own team and other departments to identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies.
- Ensure our most complex tenders (many with contract values of millions of pounds) are priced according to precise requirements, helping us to drive significant margin into the business.
- Play an active role in the ongoing improvement of systems and processes in Flex pricing.
- Identify and recommend opportunities for improvement in tools and processes and updating and maintaining inputs in our suite of pricing tools.
Who we’re looking for
To be successful in this role you’ll ideally have:
- Excellent numerical skills paired with a sharp eye for detail and combined with ability to see the bigger picture.
- Confidence working independently while also thriving in a team-oriented environment.
- Solid PC skills and intermediate to advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel, including managing complex spreadsheets and data analysis.
- Pricing experience within utility environment.
- Familiarity with process management and related software is a plus, though not essential.
- A strong understanding of Drax/Energy products and proven experience in a B2B environment, collaborating with sales professionals, and managing deadlines is essential.
- Experience with coding languages, VBA, SQL would be advantageous.
