About the role

As a Change and Project Manager at Drax you’ll lead the delivery of business‑led change and transformation projects, ensuring process, people and organisational changes are effectively defined, governed, and adopted to achieve measurable business outcomes. You’ll be accountable for shaping scope, coordinating cross‑functional workstreams, managing risks and dependencies, and driving strong stakeholder engagement and operational readiness, all within agreed governance frameworks. Whilst not responsible for technical solution delivery, you’ll ensure that change initiatives are well‑planned, aligned to strategic priorities, and successfully embedded into BAU.

Who we’re looking for

You’ll be a well‑seasoned project manager with a deep understanding of change management coupled with exceptional stakeholder management. You’ll have incredible planning skills and be commercially minded and used to working in matrix environments. You’ll be capable of coordinating multiple workstreams, managing complex dependencies and maintaining critical paths. You’ll need to have extensive experience leading business change and transformation projects to be considered for this role. Experience in the energy or utilities industry would be advantageous as well as a project management or change management certification.
