We’re looking for an experienced and commercially minded Group Head of People Systems and Data to lead and evolve our people technology ecosystem across the Group. This is a strategic leadership role within the HR function responsible for ensuring our HR systems are modern, scalable, data-driven and designed to deliver an outstanding employee experience. You’ll lead the direction, design and optimisation of our people platforms while enabling smarter decision-making through high-quality workforce data and insights.
Working with key stakeholders across HR, IT, Finance and senior leadership teams, you’ll translate business priorities into technology solutions that improve how we attract, support and develop our people.
What you’ll be doing
- Define and deliver the Group People Systems strategy and roadmap, ensuring platforms remain aligned to business priorities and future growth.
- Lead the design, implementation and ongoing optimisation of HR technology solutions across the employee lifecycle.
- Own the integrity, governance, security and quality of people data across all HR systems.
- Build and strengthen workforce analytics capability, delivering meaningful people insights, dashboards and reporting that support evidence-based people decisions.
- Drive automation and continuous improvement within the People function to reduce manual processes and create better user experiences for employees, managers and HR teams.
- Lead vendor and partner relationships, ensuring strong performance, value delivery and successful system enhancements and upgrades.
- Partner with stakeholders across HR, IT and Finance to translate operational requirements into scalable technology solutions.
- Ensure people systems remain compliant with employment legislation, GDPR and applicable regulatory requirements across multiple geographies.
- Develop and lead a high-performing People Systems function, creating a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement.
- Stay ahead of market trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance capability and performance.
What you’ll bring
- Significant experience leading People Systems / HR Technology functions within a complex, multi-site or global organisation.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise HRIS platforms (such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or equivalent) with a proven track record of implementing a new HRIS system in a multi-site organisation.
- Experience delivering systems transformation, process improvement and data governance programmes.
- Strong analytical capability with the ability to turn workforce data into actionable business insight.
- Experience influencing senior stakeholders and working cross-functionally across HR, IT and Finance.
- A strong understanding of systems architecture, governance and operational excellence.
- Experience managing external people technology vendors and strategic partnerships.
- Degree-level qualification (or equivalent experience) in HR, Information Systems, Business or a related discipline; HR technology certification is advantageous.
