We are excited to be retained by a leading B2B technology asset to appoint a Group Financial Controller. The company was recently acquired by one of Europe's premier private equity firms and has seen exponential organic growth supplemented by an aggressive M&A strategy. This is a critical appointment and will directly support the CFO, supporting all finance/strategic activities relating to executing the value creation plan, whilst implementing robust governance and compliance procedures and systems. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly scaling asset, with a leading sponsor, and be part of a high-percentile exit process. This role will suit a Financial Controller/Head of Finance at a private capital-backed software/technology asset, ideally with a practice background.
THE ROLE:
- Full oversight of all compliance, governance, and controllership matters across the group
- Development and leadership of a growing operational finance function
- Implementation of best-in-class financial processes, systems and frameworks
- Presenting insightful MI, analysis, and financial information to the senior leadership team
- Ensuring timely closing of the month-end process, along with preparation and submission of all statutory accounting in accordance with UK GAAP/IFRS
- Preparation of multi-currency consolidation of the group P&L and Balance sheet
- Implementation and continuous improvement of the management account pack to support the business growth and complexity
- Strong balance sheet control ensuring all accounts are reconciled and reviewed monthly
- Reviewing and ensuring the financial accounting for the group ensuring the correct treatment of items regarding revenue, intercompany, and share options
THE REQUIREMENTS:
- Software/SaaS experience
- Private Equity exposure
- Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- Ideally from an audit/practice background
- Experience in working for a high-growth organisation is highly beneficial
- International entity exposure is beneficial
