DRAX Altus is excited to be exclusively partnering with a rapidly scaling Private Markets platform backed by one of the world’s leading financial institutions to hire a Portfolio Associate to AVP into their leveraged lending team. This is a high-visibility role supporting fund oversight, portfolio management, valuations and investor reporting across European leveraged finance investments. This is a great opportunity to step up and join a growing platform at the start of a high growth journey. The suitable candidate will have experience in a private markets role.
THE ROLE:
- Leading technical waiver processes and supporting credit decisions
- Attending borrower calls and restructuring discussions
- Supporting quarterly valuations and Valuation Committee materials
- Coordinating investor reporting and performance analysis
- Reviewing credit documentation, financial models, budgets and forecasts
- Working closely with portfolio managers and account managers
THE REQUIREMENTS:
- Exposure to European Leveraged Finance or Direct Lending
- Strong credit analysis skills across mid-market leveraged loans
- Confidence analysing financial statements, forecasts and cash flow models
- Understanding of deal structures and legal documentation
- Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
- Degree qualified (ACA, ACCA or CFA preferred but not essential)
