DRAX Altus is exclusively working on an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Investment Banking Analyst to join one of the leading, global private equity investment platforms. The successful candidate will support the team across both co-investment and fund investment activities:
- Co-Investments: Direct participation in attractive deals alongside premier private equity firms. Focus on building high-quality, diversified portfolios of strategic co-investments, primarily in buyouts and growth financings across global markets and industries.
- Primary Fund Investments: Commitments to premier private equity funds, constructing diversified portfolios across asset classes, including buyout, growth equity, venture capital, and special situations.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with one year of full-time Investment Banking experience to broaden their exposure across sectors and geographies, developing within a high performing, active environment.
THE ROLE:
- Analyze and assess a broad spectrum of companies across multiple industries to identify compelling investment opportunities.
- Build and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate valuations of private companies.
- Prepare high-quality due diligence materials and investment committee memos.
- Conduct in-depth research on private equity funds, portfolio companies, and industries.
- Interact with private equity partners and investment professionals on a regular basis.
- Support portfolio monitoring, including attending annual meetings and investor updates.
- Collaborate with colleagues across strategies to gather insights for investment decisions.
THE REQUIREMENTS:
- One year to 18 months of full-time experience in Investment Banking or Private Equity.
- Clear understanding and interest in the FoF and Co-Investment space.
- Strong academic background.
- Proven analytical and quantitative skills with solid expertise in financial modelling and valuation.
- Results-driven, proactive, and solutions-oriented.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
- Fluency in additional European languages is an advantage.
