As part of this full time role, you will maintain and manage key company data, including factory audit details, REACH and MSDS documentation, ensuring records remain accurate and up to date. You’ll also provide operational support across a range of day-to-day administrative activities, helping the team run efficiently and effectively. About the Role Working as our QA Administrator your role will include:

  • Processing purchase orders for new product lines and supplier changes, ensuring all required information is accurately recorded.
  • Add and maintain new product data within our database.
  • Filing and maintaining audit reports and supporting data, ensuring records are organised, accessible, and kept up to date.
  • Liaising with suppliers to obtain product, factory and compliance information as required.
  • Maintaining the factory database, recording factory information and updating audit records received from our Buying Category Managers or from our office in China.
  • Arranging and coordinating product testing activities, including the booking of tests, recording of Sample Test Cards (T-cards) and creating internal orders for QA sample testing and comparison purposes.
  • Creating shipment reports from photographs or quality inspection reports received from suppliers.
  • Analysing data and producing reports for internal departments and external stakeholders as required.
  • Maintaining calibration schedules for equipment and arrange calibrations as they become due.
  • Ensure calibration records are kept up to date, monitor upcoming calibration due dates, notify the relevant person as required.

Requirements:

  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A well-organised approach with the ability to plan and deliver, with use of excellent time management skills.
  • Accurate data entry into various company systems that underpin core data for reporting.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables would be essential.
