The Communications, Sensors and Cyber Business Area within the Electronic Systems Program Office directorate delivers key mission ConOps-driven solutions in support of National Security missions. The Draper team is chartered with supporting the Nation's most challenging problems across multiple technical domains. Draper is seeking a Program Manager to be part of a dynamic, fast-paced, high priority technical portfolio. This Program Manager will be responsible for leading a multi-disciplinary team through research, design, development, integration, and production efforts, ensuring Customer satisfaction, and on-time delivery of work product and contractual deliverables.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Manages project planning and execution of individual or a collection of projects.
- Performs activity and resource planning in coordination with the assigned engineering lead.
- Manages all pre contract and post award contractual requirements including, but not limited to, protection of Draper proprietary data through non disclosure agreements, teaming agreements, and Intellectual Property agreements.
- Performs cost estimating and budget planning.
- Analyzes and manages project risk and manages reports and necessary documentation from inception to close out following all Draper QMS procedures.
- Leads the development of proposals in a teaming fashion with engineering, program administration, and F&A.
- Effectively conveys work results to the project team, business leads, and supervisors in oral and written form; clearly communicates with sponsors, management and peers.
- Effectively integrates team member inputs into reports and presentations.
- Collaborates with customers through both program execution and business development activities.
- Regularly interacts with customers and technical staff to bring new concepts/solutions to our sponsors.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Education
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business or related field of study required.
Experience
3-5 years experience in program related area with functional or program management experience. Aerospace systems experience is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity and understanding of DoD and IC customer culture, missions, and national security challenges.
- Dynamic leadership skills; ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adjust priorities as needed in order to meet deadlines.
- Passion about Draper's non-profit mission to make impact on the most challenging national security problems.
- Experience growing business in the areas of R&D technology development, and/or integration of new technology into existing, fielded systems a plus.
- Active US DoD Top Secret clearance required.
- PMP certification.
