The Role
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you’ll support across operations and compliance, with an option to play a key role in business development through a network in the whisky industry. You’ll work closely with the Warehouse Manager while also contributing to wider commercial activities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining and updating the Warehouse Management System (WMS) for all stock movements
- Preparing and submitting monthly HMRC reporting (including W1 documentation)
- Producing weekly stock and warehouse utilisation reports for the MD
- Collaborating with the Warehouse Manager to identify and implement operational improvements
- Building and maintaining a company CRM, managing both existing and prospective contacts
- Ensuring all due diligence documentation is accurate and up to date (EMCS checks, insurance, customer records)
- Developing and maintaining company policies
