The Role

We are currently recruiting for a skilled Aircraft Engineer (Mechanical) to join our team and support aircraft maintenance activities under the guidance of a Licensed Aircraft Engineer (B1). The role requires a solid understanding of relevant aircraft maintenance regulations and a commitment to working safely and in full compliance with company procedures at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and service aircraft in compliance with approved OEM data and company procedures.
  • Carry out scheduled maintenance, component replacements, defect rectification, inspections, aircraft reconfiguration and refuelling.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety standards, including SHE Technical Standards and risk assessment countermeasures, while actively contributing to our Safety Management System (SMS) culture.
  • Accurately complete maintenance documentation, tool and equipment control, maintain cleanliness and compliance within work areas, and support aircraft ground movements.
  • Occasional travel to support maintenance activities away from the home base may be required.

Experience / Skills / Qualifications

  • Strong technical English skills (written and spoken), basic mathematics.
  • Aircraft Engineering Apprenticeship covering English, Maths and Physics (desirable).
  • Experience in service or commercial aircraft engineering operations (desirable).
  • Ability to work safely in line with risk assessments and technical instructions.
  • Good manual dexterity using maintenance hand tools.
  • Trustworthy, motivated approach as part of a team.
  • Physically and medically fit to perform maintenance tasks.
  • Customer-focused with excellent communication skills.
  • Able to work under tight deadlines while maintaining safety standards.
  • IT literacy, including experience with MS Office and knowledge of Human Factors.
  • Security clearance to meet UK and ITAR requirements.
  • Flexibility to support aircraft recoveries outside normal hours.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and adherence to organisational values.
