We are currently recruiting for a Captain for our DA42 Aircraft to be based from our Bournemouth or Teesside bases. As a DA42 Captain your primary role will be supporting our contract with the UK MOD providing operational readiness training alongside other tasking as determined by the Company. The DA42 supports tasking throughout the UK requiring regular detached operations.
Responsibilities
- To carry out such duties concerning the flight, in accordance with Company Standard Operating Procedures, including procedures, limitations and performance relating to the specific aircraft type.
- Responsible for operating in accordance with the relevant SHE standards.
- Maintain familiarity with relevant United Kingdom and International air legislation and aviation best practices and procedures.
- Maintain familiarity with such provisions of the Company Operations Manuals as are necessary to fulfil the required function.
- Apply countermeasures identified in applicable risk assessment to appointed operations/tasks.
- The safe operation of the aircraft in accordance with current legislation and company operations manuals.
- Maintain a high standard of discipline, conduct and appearance as a representative of the Company.
- Supporting detachments as required by the company.
- Upholding professional standards and delivery whilst operating remotely.
- Operating in support of adjacent contracts.
- Uphold the Draken Europe Vision, Mission, Customer Promise, and Core Values and Principles.
Experience / Skills / Qualifications
- Suitably qualified and experienced as a pilot
- Hold a valid UK CPL(A) or \”Frozen\” ATPL(A)
- Hold a Class 1 medical
- Experience as a single-pilot operator (highly desirable)
- Delivery of contracted Flight Operations (desirable)
- Completed MCC course (desirable)
- Completed UPRT course (desirable)
- Flight operations in the civil environment (desirable)
- Reasonable level of competence with the suite of Microsoft Office tools (desirable)
