Are you detail-oriented, organised, and ready to support a fast-paced supply chain team in the aviation sector? Draken Europe is looking for a Purchasing Assistant to join our team and play a key role in supporting our supplier approval process and procurement operations.
️About the Role
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager , you’ll be responsible for providing administrative support to the supplier approval and audit process, managing purchase orders, and maintaining procurement systems. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of a dynamic and mission-critical department.
- Complete new supplier set-up and reapproval/audit processes
- Review purchase requisitions against the preferred supplier list
- Process and amend purchase orders as required
- Expedite orders and maintain the open order book
- Produce management information reports
- Ensure procurement system compliance with internal procedures
What You’ll Bring
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A collaborative team player with excellent organisational skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel knowledge desirable)
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems is a plus
- Financial and commercial awareness
