Draken Europe is seeking an experienced Engineering Delivery Manager to lead the execution of engineering activities across our Operations and Programmes. This is a pivotal role, reporting directly to the VP Engineering, where you'll drive technical excellence, fleet reliability, and sustainable support across our mission-critical platforms.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead engineering delivery across multidisciplinary teams including Design Office, CAMO, Manufacturing, and MRO.
- Act as the principal authority on engineering decisions for programme fleet delivery.
- Collaborate closely with Programme Managers and Directors to shape bid strategies and technical solutions.
- Manage engineering risks, opportunities, and regulatory compliance.
- Represent engineering in customer engagements, bid work, and contract sustainment.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation across engineering functions.
- Ensure delivery against key performance indicators and contractual milestones.
What We're Looking For:
- A recognised apprenticeship or degree in Aeronautical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Proven leadership in complex, regulated environments – ideally aerospace.
- Strong understanding of CAA and UK Defence (MAA) regulatory frameworks.
- Experience managing engineering delivery in a VUCA environment.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate effectively at all levels.
- Commercial awareness and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
- Knowledge of ISO standards (9001, 45001, 14001).
- Experience with evaluation techniques and business process optimisation.
