Since opening our doors in 2008, the Drake & Morgan collection now has 16 beautiful bars and restaurants in London and Manchester. We wanted to create a unique space where locals and visitors alike could enjoy thoughtful, inspired menus and innovative, crafted cocktails in the most welcoming environment.

In this role you'll be selling to likeminded individuals and corporate companies the opportunity to pre-book and plan a great night out, event, party or function with high levels of repeat and referral business and hundreds of existing leads and customer relationships.

What does the role of Assistant Sales Manager entail?

  • To always be positive, vibrant and display a real passion for the industry
  • Drive guest list and area bookings for all social and corporate occasions, through cold-calling, networking and building relationships with our valued customers
  • Perform face to face meetings and show rounds in the venue
  • Build new relationships and establish new business
  • Promoting themed events
  • Manage a computer-based booking system
  • Perform day-to-day venue admin
  • Visit new business weekly
  • Continue relationships with existing customers
  • Achieve your sales targets

Requirements

We're looking for candidates with great interpersonal and communication skills who after a day of business development will enjoy nothing more than meeting and greeting that night's clients. Ideally, we're looking for candidates who have a sales background with a genuine passion for the entertainment industry. Please note you must be able to prove you are eligible to work in the UK and have excellent written and spoken English.
