As a Sous Chef you will oversee the kitchen with the Head chef & work within a busy branded environment.
Key responsibilities
- Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes to spec
- Managing and training any chef de parties or commis working with you
- Helping the head chef to develop specials
- Ensuring you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety
- Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins
