We are recruiting on behalf of a specialist paediatric therapy provider for an experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join their growing clinical team on the outskirts of Fleet, Hampshire. This is an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 or Band 7 Occupational Therapist who is passionate about supporting children and young people and is looking for a flexible role with a community-based caseload.
The service supports children and young people aged 2–25 across a range of environments including schools, homes, clinic settings and the wider community. Many of the children supported present with autism, sensory processing needs, learning disabilities and other co-occurring needs. Experience in sensory integration is highly desirable.
Although the organisation is based on the outskirts of Fleet, this role does not require regular travel to head office. Instead, therapists are allocated a caseload within approximately a 45-minute drive from their home location, allowing for a more practical and flexible working pattern. Non-clinical duties such as administration and report writing can be completed remotely from home. Current service delivery areas include Hampshire, Surrey and Berkshire.
Key responsibilities- Undertake paediatric occupational therapy assessments in the community or clinic
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions
- Complete reports, clinical notes and recommendations to a high standard
- Work collaboratively with families, schools and other professionals
- Manage a varied caseload of children and young people across different settings
- Qualified Occupational Therapist
- Band 6 or Band 7 level experience
- Paediatric experience across relevant settings
- Experience of sensory integration
- HCPC registered
- RCoT membership
- Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
