We’re supporting a specialist provider to appoint an experienced Band 7 Lead Occupational Therapist to provide clinical and professional leadership within a women’s mental health service. This senior role is ideal for an OT who is passionate about occupation‑focused practice, service development, and supporting more junior colleagues within a complex clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership for occupational therapy services across the ward(s)
- Lead on assessment, intervention planning, and outcome measurement
- Promote and embed occupation‑focused practice within the MDT
- Provide supervision, mentorship, and professional guidance to OT colleagues
- Lead on audit, service improvement, and evidence‑based practice
- Contribute to risk management, governance, and quality assurance processes
Requirements
- HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
- Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy
- Significant post‑qualification experience within mental health services
- Experience providing clinical supervision and leadership
- Strong knowledge of governance, risk management, and service development
