We are seeking a Geotechnical Engineer and Product Specialist to play a pivotal role in our product development lifecycle, ensuring our offerings meet and exceed customer expectations. This position will collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and R&D teams to define product features, specifications, and requirements, aligning them with customer preferences and market trends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, revise, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, manuals, support materials, datasheets, and blog posts.
  • Collaborate with sales on developing complex proposals and promoting products.
  • Represent the company at national and international exhibitions, conferences, and trade shows.
  • Serve as technical lead on customer inquiries and issue resolution.
  • Provide expert advice to customers regarding product processing and properties.
  • Travel to customer sites within the UK and internationally for installation and training.
  • Define product features and specifications aligned with customer preferences.
  • Conduct thorough testing of software and firmware to ensure seamless hardware integration.
  • Collaborate with development teams on test plans and procedures.
  • Identify technical opportunities for mutual growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (BSc) in Material Science, Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum three years of proven experience in technical service or product management, ideally within technology or engineering sectors.
  • Basic understanding of Windows operating systems and software installation/troubleshooting.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated capability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies.
