We are looking for a Bar Manager to join our team
Since opening our doors in 2008, the Drake & Morgan collection has established beautiful bars and restaurants in London and Manchester. We aim to create a unique space where locals and visitors can enjoy thoughtful menus and innovative cocktails in a welcoming environment—a true escape from the everyday.
As a Bar Manager, you will be a leader in your sector, with a passion for knowledge and a commitment to providing guests with excellent service, standards, and products. Experience managing high-volume, multi-room, multi-occasion venues is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences through quality drinks, charming service, and inviting environments.
- Collaborate with the management team to ensure smooth operation during trading hours.
- Continuously improve the guest experience by generating ideas, executing them, and analyzing results.
- Create new and seasonal drinks for specials and menus across the group.
- Manage stock including ordering, invoicing, and performance reporting to improve service and profitability.
- Oversee the bartending department with support from supervisors.
- Efficiently manage rotas to ensure appropriate staffing levels.
- Maintain high hygiene standards in compliance with EHO and company policies.
- Train staff on drinks and bar products.
- Work with the GM to control costs and grow EBITDA.
- Coach and develop junior managers to reach department head level.
- Handle feedback and complaints professionally, implementing actions to prevent recurrence.
- Assist in recruiting talented team members to enhance service and guest experience.
