Drainline are seeking motivated and skilled HGV Driver (Gully Truck) to work on our exciting new Highways contract based out of Glastonbury Somerset. Must have minimum Class C driving Licence for position. Working Monday to Friday 16.00 - 02.00 as part of a two person team, your role will be to drive to attend different job sites to investigate, unblock and clean highways drainage across the county using our new Gully Emptying unit. Experience in high pressure water jetting operation is desirable, but training can be provided to the right candidate. A NRSWA qualification would also be advantageous.
You’ll take pride in your work and deliver it to a high standard whilst following all necessary health and safety policies, have a positive can-do attitude, be able to adhere to time constraints and deadlines, have excellent communication and timekeeping skills and be able to work as part of a team. To take care of the equipment and keep the vehicle clean and presentable.

Qualifications and Skills:
- 1 year HGV experience over 25
- Previous experience operating gully trucks or similar vehicles preferred but full training given.
- Excellent driving skills with a strong emphasis on safety and adherence to traffic laws.
- Good knowledge of road networks and local routes.
- Ability to perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and minor repairs.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and documentation.
