We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Drainage Engineer to join our team. The candidate must have hands-on experience in drainage systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to high-quality service.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out drainage investigations, repairs, and maintenance.
- Conduct site surveys to assess existing drainage conditions and identify potential issues.
- Respond to emergency call outs when required.
- Operate drainage equipment, power tools, and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Provide clear job reports and recommendations.
- Ensure safe working practices and compliance with company standards.
- Maintain company vehicle, equipment, and tools to a high standard.
Requirements:
- Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:00-17:00.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a drainage engineer or in a similar role.
- Full UK driver's license.
- Confident in handling internal and external blockages, CIPP patch repairs, and excavations.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- On-call rota, two weeks out of four.
